Press Marks
Generic = 3 mm side bars / FA slug bar with reg targets, ink slug, ID dots, control strip. Basewrap = corner registration L-marks 0.1 mm off the die, edge centre crosses, and a top + bottom colour-code line in each ink.
Standard 1.5 mm from the dieline
Bleed beyond the dieline. 1.5 + 1.5 = tracker at the bleed edge.
Which way labels travel around the cylinder. Tracker lines appear on the edges perpendicular to the repeat direction.
Tracker lines + registration targets
Always 3 mm thick, at the start and end of the repeat, with circle-cross targets at both ends and centre.
Job slug + ink names
Job name in the top bar, plus each ink's name printed in its own ink.
Ink identification dots
One dot per ink, knocked out of both bar ends, in press order.
Control strip
One solid 100% patch per ink below the bottom bar.
