What it does

The 1-bit Proofs tool generates screened one-bit TIFFs per separation, the same screened dots that will image on the plate, so a proof shows what the press will actually lay down rather than a smooth soft-proof approximation. Screened proofs reveal moire, minimum dot and screening decisions that a continuous-tone proof hides, which matters on flexo where the dot on the plate is the whole story. It runs in the browser, free to try for 7 days, and gives prepress a real per-separation reference to sign off against.
